Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a lawyer from Britain and Lebanon, a human rights activist and charitable philanthropist. Following her graduation from the Oxford University School of Law she embarked on a successful and long-lasting professional career within human rights as well as international law. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight to be recognized as the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged in 2014, and then got married to American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household word. Before her marriage, she was admired and well-known in legal circles due to her accomplishments and ability to represent clients. Her job is to represent multinational companies in court proceedings and negotiations regarding government regulations, and also social justice or human rights.
